I think it's in Death by Pad Thai, though I've also heard him read it--very well--aloud.Graham Fousthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06902924167740499907noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1660090614793277371.post-83354589286191634342009-03-08T11:46:00.000-07:002009-03-08T11:46:00.000-07:00Andy, the best book to start with would be An Alph...Andy, the best book to start with would be An Alphabet for Gourmets, which is divided into separate sections, which may be read in any order.

Most of her books contain interesting anecdotes from her life, but she never set down an organized autobiography. The Letters is fascinating, sort of like the curtain drawn back as in The Wizard of Oz. She created a partly fictionalized persona for her work, more charming and flexible than her true self.Curtis Favillehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06213075853354387634noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1660090614793277371.post-10012811588809708432009-03-07T21:54:00.000-08:002009-03-07T21:54:00.000-08:00What an encounter! Fisher was a fine writer; I've been putting off really diving in, but have been gleefully thumbing around in her books for the last couple of years.

AndyAndy Gricevichhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04367834692026653431noreply@blogger.com
